DCE is offering an Avanced Hydra Camp!

This camp is for developers with a year or more hands-on Hydra development experience who have already attended Hydra Camp or have equivalent knowlege. Advanced Hydra Camp provides an opportunity to catch up on the latest developments in the Hydra stack and best practices for implementing new features and enhancements in ways that maximize maintainability and sharability:

  • What’s so great about Hyrax? Keep your institution up-to-date with community evolution.
  • Extending Hydra/CC/Sufia/Hyrax Add localized features that are easy to migrate to future releases.
  • Hands on the latest Active Fedora & LDP Express your metadata in RDF and get it ready for Fedora 4.
  • Object Modeling in PCDM Leverage community patterns to simplify development for complex objects.
  • International Image Interoperablity Framework IIIF Give users rich image interactions.
  • Integrating Workflow Management Configure the workflow features in Sufia & Hyrax or roll your own.
  • Background jobs Make applications more responsive.

Camp will be facilitated by Mark Bussey, Justin Coyne, Tom Johnson, Bess Sadler, & Adam Wead.
